Este martes en el Lotto Dome de Maaseik, Noliko del entrenador Daniel Castellani venció por 3-1 a Knack Roeselare en una parada clave que le permitió asegurarse su lugar en la final cuando restan dos fechas para culminar el hexagonal final. Nicolás Bruno y Facundo Santucci estuvieron en cancha para empujar a su equipo a la definición del certamen.
Era un partido bisagra, no sólo porque Knack Roeselare lo seguía apenas un punto por debajo en las posiciones, sino porque también sumar de a tres le aseguraría que el tercero ya no podría alcanzarlo. En ese contexto, la victoria de Noliko tiene doble valor, porque además de la clasificación, mantiene al conjunto de los argentinos al tope de la tabla luego del triunfo por 3-1 con parciales de 20-25, 25-18, 25-21 y 25-20.
A pesar del comienzo adverso, Maaseik se repuso con mejor actuación en ataque y aprovechando los errores de Roeselare para empardar primero el tablero y luego pasar al frente con buen control del juego. La recepción de Noliko funcionó en gran forma (64% de efectividad de Santucci y 74% de Bruno) y fue acompañada por el goleo de Jelte Maan y Wout Wijsmans, cada uno autor de 18, para coronar una victoria fundamental. Además, el punta argentino aportó 11 unidades en ataque y cerró otra gran actuación personal.
Antes de las finales (todavía con fecha a confirmar), Noliko enfrentará a Topvolley Callant y Lindemans Aalst el 22 y 25 de este mes respectivamente.
