Este jueves, Ferro enfrentó a 77FC en el partido pendiente de la última fecha de la Primera División y con su victoria en sets corridos selló el título para consagrarse campeón y, junto a Estudiantes de La Plata, ascender a la División de Honor. Además, con este resultado quedaron definidos los cruces de Play Off.
La victoria fue con parciales de 25-15, 25-21 y 25-14 y de esta forma Ferro terminó la Ronda Campeonato con 59,5 puntos y 14 victorias en igual cantidad de partidos. En la fase inicial había ganado 12 de los 15 encuentros y es por eso que terminó por encima de Estudiantes, que tiene 53,5 puntos con un partido por jugar todavía ante Ciudad.
No obstante, más alla de ese partido que se jugará el próximo martes, ya quedaron definidas las posiciones de los de arriba. UBA y GBEL son tercero y cuarto, respectivamente, y Ciudad quedará quinto más allá de lo que pase en ese duelo ante Estudiantes. UNTREF finalizó sexto, 77FC séptimo y GEVP, octavo.
