Este s\u00e1bado se complet\u00f3 la octava jornada de la Liga Pro A de Francia que tiene a un nuevo l\u00edder luego del traspi\u00e9 de Montpellier. Se trata del Chaumont de Sebasti\u00e1n Closter, que derrot\u00f3 a Narbonne 3-2 y ahora mira a todos desde arriba. En tanto, S\u00e9te de Nicol\u00e1s M\u00e9ndez cay\u00f3 3-1 ante Ajaccio y se encuentra s\u00e9ptimo.<\/p>\n

Casi dos horas de juego en el Palais du Travail le llev\u00f3 al Chaumont alzarse con la victoria sobre Narbonne. Con parciales de 22-25, 23-25, 25-14, 25-18 y 15-8, el conjunto de Closter no s\u00f3lo dio vuelta el encuentro, sino que aprovech\u00f3 la oportunidad para quedar como \u00fanico l\u00edder de la competencia. Apenas superior fue el local en los dos primeros sets, que se le escaparon por poco a Chaumont. No obstante, con el saque afilado y su ataque imparable, el equipo del argentino se repuso y lleg\u00f3 al tie break m\u00e1s entero. All\u00ed, lo defini\u00f3 con comodidad y alcanz\u00f3 los 14 puntos de bloqueo para facturar el triunfo. Closter cerr\u00f3 su participaci\u00f3n con 71% de recepciones positivas.<\/p>\n

La mala noticia, sin embargo, fue la derrota de S\u00e9te por 3-1 ante Ajaccio que lo hizo caer en las posiciones. Con parciales de 25-13, 23-25, 26-24 y 25-16, el conjunto de M\u00e9ndez qued\u00f3 s\u00e9ptimo, pero con buenas chances de subir dado que la brecha con el tercero es de apenas tres puntos. La buena labor de Sete en recepci\u00f3n no se vio acompa\u00f1ada por el ataque, donde Ajaccio fue superior, al igual que desde el bloqueo y el saque. M\u00e9ndez aport\u00f3 9 puntos y 88% de eficacia en recepci\u00f3n, mientras el m\u00e1ximo anotador del juego fue Jovica Simovski del local con 22 unidades.<\/p>\n
